Community
There are many ways in which an individual can "give back" to the community. We all hold a responsibility to be stewards of our our neighbourboods and communities, towns and cities. Let's face it, the nicer your community, the more enjoyable a place it is to live.
We take that philosophy on the environment as well. A clean community is typically more enjoyable, safer, and creates a sense of pride and ownership.
It's amazing what one person can do...
Have you thought about cleaning up that path through the forest or park down the street? Field and Stream Rescue Team offers the ablitiy to create a project, invite volunteers and network with your neighbourhood to give something back to our environment. Browse our site for tools that will guide you step-by-step through creating a project, registering it online and making sure you know everything you need to to get started and complete the project. Take a look at how to get started and Field and Stream Rescue Team will support you along the way!
Creating, planning and organizing an event like a community clean-up, tree planting event or even environmental awareness day gives you a reason to get outside, meet your neighbours, and achieve something that should have been done years ago.
It's easy! Visit our project section to learn how to organize and run your own even, or even check to see if an event already exists in your area.
