The City of Burlington recognizes the importance of preserving our creeks, bush-lots and green spaces. I have worked with Dave Vyse, Mark Wiedener and the "Field and Stream Rescue Team", for the past two years on various creek clean-up projects. The Field and Stream Rescue Team has also begun to plant shrubs and native species of trees to help control erosion and to increase the ecological and visual diversity of the system. The City of Burlington supports all of the efforts of the Field and Stream Rescue Team in their project to help preserve and promote a healthy creek system.
