OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Revitalizing urban areas by restoring and rehabilitating watercourses,
forests and natural areas through community education and hands-on activities.
Field and Stream Rescue Team holds several projects per year in which we count on community volunteers to participate and aid in cleaning, stream rehabilitation and native tree and shrub plantings. Since 2001, we have completed 210 projects! Our goal is to educate communities through hands-on activities and create healthier greenspaces, streams, and creeks.

Do you have an idea for a project? Please contact us with the location, concern, and any other details,
and we'd be happy to look into the inquiry that could turn into a future project!

In October 2022, FSRT opened its office and education centre at the historic schoolhouse within Burlington's Lowville Park! We are open to the public periodically each summer (watch for the "Open House" sign). Stop by to view our eco-educational displays and photos of past projects, learn more about our work, view this designated heritage building, or just say hello!
