OUR MISSION STATEMENT "Revitalizing urban areas by restoring and rehabilitating watercourses, forests and natural areas through community education and hands-on activities".
Exciting News!
As of Oct 2nd, 2022, our FSRT office and education center within Lowville Park is open for public access! We will have the education centre open to the public periodically throughout the summer and for private events. Please contact us for more details.
Field and Stream Rescue Team holds several projects per year in which we count on community volunteers to participate and aid in cleaning, stream rehabilitation and native tree and shrub plantings. Since 2001 we have completed 195 projects. Our goal is to educate communities through hands-on activities and create healthier, greenspaces, streams and creeks.
If you have an idea for a project, please reach out to info@streamrescue,com with the location, concern, and any other details and we would be happy to look into the inquiry that could turn inti a future project!
